This was the first quilted patch denim jacket I ever made.
I made it for one of my favorite people on this earth— my beautiful sister in law. She was visiting us for Henry’s 1st birthday and it so happens that her birthday is the day before his.
I had made her daughter a quilt a few months prior and I was thinking to myself, “how could I incorporate that quilt into a gift for her?” I ran so many things through my head and bam—a quilted star denim jacket is what I landed on.
